Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Vela K Products Ltd. ("Vela K", "we", "us") collects when you use Vela K Academy, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Last updated September 21, 2026.

1. What we collect
Information you give us. When you sign up for the free training, apply for a call, buy a program, join the community, book a session, or contact us, we collect what you provide: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, application answers, session notes, community posts, and messages you send us.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Kajabi Payments and its payment processor. Card details are entered on their secure checkout. We see the last four digits of your card, the amount, and the billing address. We never see or store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site we collect standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, referring links, and the emails you open or click. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and platform analytics.
Program activity. Inside the academy we record lesson progress, session bookings and attendance, and community activity so we can deliver the program and support you.
2. How we use it
We use personal information to: deliver the training, sessions, and community you signed up for; process payments, payment plans, receipts, and refunds; schedule and hold calls; send service messages such as receipts, payment reminders, and login details; send marketing emails when you have given consent or when we have an existing business relationship with you (every marketing email has an unsubscribe link); answer your questions and provide support; measure and improve our site, ads, and content; and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not rent or trade our email list.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the academy, and only as needed for that purpose: Kajabi (site hosting, courses, community, checkout, and email delivery), Kajabi Payments and its payment processor (payments), Calendly (call booking), video call tools (private sessions and group calls), and advertising and analytics platforms such as Meta and Google (measurement of our ads and site traffic).
Some of these providers are located in the United States and other countries. Your information may be stored and processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those countries.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of Vela K, our students, or others.
4. Community and testimonials
If you join the Vela K community, your name, profile details, and posts are visible to other members. We only publish a student testimonial or review with that student's written consent.
5. Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and pixels to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, understand how our site is used, and measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect login and checkout. You can manage ad preferences directly with Meta and Google through their ad settings.
6. Email and anti-spam
We follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the United States CAN-SPAM Act. We send commercial email only with your consent or where an existing business relationship allows it. Every marketing email identifies Vela K Products Ltd., includes our mailing address, and includes a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are honoured within 10 business days, usually immediately. Service emails such as receipts, payment reminders, and account notices are not marketing and continue while you are a customer.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements. Purchase and tax records are kept for at least six years, as required by Canadian tax law. Marketing contacts who unsubscribe are kept on a suppression list so we do not email them again.
8. Security
Personal information is stored on the systems of our service providers, which use industry-standard security including encryption in transit. Access within Vela K is limited to people who need it to serve you. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you as required by law if a breach affects your information.
9. Your rights and choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal record-keeping requirements. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time by clicking unsubscribe or emailing us. Send requests to info@velakproducts.com from the email address on your account. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Residents of United States jurisdictions with privacy laws may exercise the rights available to them by contacting us the same way.
10. Children
Our programs are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links and platforms
Our site and emails link to third-party sites such as Amazon, YouTube, Instagram, and Calendly. Their privacy practices are their own. Vela K Products Ltd. is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc.
12. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
